Erin Scardena

Ms. Scardena co-founded Doberman Emergency Management in 2017 with her husband, helping establish the company's vision of applying emergency management principles in new and innovative ways. By combining emergency management expertise with cross-sector collaboration, thoughtful design, and emerging technologies, she helped position Doberman as a recognized leader in assessments, planning, training, and exercises.

Ms. Scardena’s award-winning work has been featured in Print Magazine, Communication Arts, and Adweek, and has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation. Her expertise in design has been instrumental in shaping Doberman's brand, products, and client experience. She believes that effective design is more than aesthetics—it is a tool for communicating clearly, solving complex problems, and driving meaningful change.

Ms. Scardena holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Heidi Hessler

Ms. Hessler brings more than 12 years of executive leadership experience, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of FuturityIT. As President of Doberman Emergency Management, she provides the company's day-to-day leadership and oversees corporate strategy, business development, sales, and marketing. Under her leadership, Doberman advances its vision of serving as the tip of the spear in emergency management innovation.

Prior to joining Doberman, she served in executive and business leadership roles, including Director of Business Development, Sales and Marketing Manager, and Project Associate. Drawing on these experiences, she leads with a customer-first approach, leveraging Doberman's reputation for expertise and innovation to help organizations protect life, property, and continuity of operations through assessments, planning, training, and exercises.

Ms. Hessler holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Northwestern California University School of Law and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis.
